How does it work?

In recent years, the true reducing and firming properties of many natural substances have received general recognition. The Cream that is applied has been specifically formulated and developed to utilize these properties to the maximum. In general terms, it acts upon nearly all the factors giving rise to body misshaping; excess body fluids, trapped wastes, cellulite, tissue weaknesses, etc.

Is the Body Contouring Treatment just a water loss?

No. The Contouring Wrap Cream does not contain any alum or salts. Unlike inch-loss treatments that depend on body perspiration for their effects, normal drinking does not damage the achievements nor replace the lost inches.

If I have excess weight to lose and use the Contouring Wraps regularly, do I have to diet?

The Contour Cream is a skin tightener and while it does firm up, tighten, and tone your skin, etc., it should not be used in place of a diet. If you need to lose weight the Inch-Loss Program should be used in conjunction with the Weight Reduction Program of proper diet and exercise. It does act, however, as an excellent incentive, because inches are lost in the first treatment. People who have had a great deal of weight to lose will notice that if they use the wrap, they will not have a lot of loose skin after the weight has been taken off.

I have a number of allergies. Will these cause any trouble?

If you have a known allergy or a history of allergic reactions, make a patch test 24 hours before the treatment. Put a little of the Cream on the inside curve of your elbow. If you have a reaction, wet a towel and hold it against the area where the Cream was applied. Remember, the Cream is water soluble, so if you want to get it out of your skin, cool water will do the job. If a skin reaction takes place after a treatment, due to allergies, fill the bath will cool water, pour in a box of baking soda, and soak until relief occurs.

Are M'Lis products approved by the F.D.A.?

The function of the F.D.A. is not to approve products, but to disapprove of any harmful products or ingredients. All of M'Lis products comply with F.D.A. stipulations concerning permitted ingredients.

What happens when I stop getting wraps?

If you continue to eat correctly and exercise properly, the inches won't come back. However, if the skin and weight maintenance is stopped, you will go back into the natural aging process.

Can a woman gain inches?

Yes. Women at their cycle time of the month can gain inches for a short period of time. Afterward, they should continue to lose further inches.

Is the wrap painful?

No. In some cases one will experience harmless heat for about 5-10 minutes. The wrap should be firm, but not so tight that it cuts off circulation to the arms or legs.

Can I sunbathe after the treatment?

No. Not for 24 hours. The Cream makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. You can suntan before, however, or use a UVA suntan bed for a short period of time.
